Designed and manufactured in South Korea by DAIMON, the Type-R combines an aggressive vented design with lightweight construction to give the Elantra N a significantly more performance-focused appearance while complementing the sharp factory body lines of the platform.

Through Korean Car Collective’s official North American partnership with DAIMON, Elantra N owners can now access these distinctive South Korean aftermarket components directly through KCC.

Type-R Design

The Type-R features an aggressive multi-vent design that dramatically changes the appearance of the Elantra N's front end.

Sculpted contours and strategically positioned vent openings give the hood a motorsport-inspired appearance while maintaining a design that flows naturally with the Elantra N's already aggressive factory styling.

FRP (Fiberglass Reinforced Plastic)
A more affordable option for customers planning to paint or customize the hood. FRP provides the same Type-R shape and vented styling without the cost of full carbon fiber construction.

Full Carbon Fiber
Constructed using genuine carbon fiber for customers looking for the premium version of the Type-R hood. The exposed carbon weave delivers a distinctive appearance that immediately separates the vehicle from a factory Elantra N.

DAIMON Pre-Order Process

This is a made-to-order DAIMON product offered through KCC's pre-order program.

The price displayed on this listing represents the product price only. International freight, export packaging, customs-related charges, and final delivery costs are not included in the displayed price.

After your pre-order payment is received:

1. KCC will coordinate with DAIMON to calculate the applicable shipping and logistics costs based on the product, destination, and current order volume.
2. You will receive a separate invoice for the calculated shipping and related logistics charges.
3. You will have 48 hours to review and pay the shipping invoice.
4. Once the shipping invoice is accepted and paid, your order will be confirmed and the hood will enter production.
5. If you decline the shipping cost or do not complete the shipping invoice within the 48-hour window, your initial pre-order payment will be refunded in full.

Once production has been authorized and begun, the order becomes non-refundable and cannot be canceled.

Production & Delivery

Every DAIMON hood is made to order in South Korea.

Production and international delivery times may vary depending on manufacturing schedules, order volume, freight consolidation, customs processing, and the final shipping method.

Once production is complete and the product is prepared for international shipment, KCC will provide shipping updates and tracking information as it becomes available.

Installation

Professional installation is strongly recommended.

As with aftermarket exterior body components, minor adjustment, alignment, trimming, drilling, hardware transfer, or other installation preparation may be required depending on the vehicle and installation.

Damage resulting from improper installation or modification is not considered shipping or manufacturing damage.

Shipping Damage

Customers should inspect the hood and packaging immediately upon delivery.

Any shipping damage must be reported to Korean Car Collective within 48 hours of delivery and should include photographs of:

• The damaged area
• The complete product
• The shipping box or packaging
• The shipping label
• Any visible damage to the packaging

Do not discard the original packaging if damage is suspected. The packaging may be required to process a freight or damage claim.
